A New Comic, A New Day

Hello everyone! It's me, "Kathryn"! I am just updating today to tell everyone we're changing our update days to Fridays. It will be a lot easier, my Sunadays are pretty busy.... anyway, for some of you that don't know "Kathryn" is not my real name. It is just the name of a character in Atrum Luna, as is Wendy. We use these names because those characters are based off of us. We are working hard on our second book and now a web comic. Our first page, or atleast the cover of the comic will debut here, on Friday! You'll see super heroes a whole new way... don't forget 09/25! The debut of the new comic!

Hi!

Some of you, if you read this bloggy thing often, have listened to Kathryn rant. I'm the other half MKHK Studios. I draw the pictures, design the characters, and administer Kathryn's anti-schizophrenic meds as needed. You won't hear a lot from me because I'm way too lazy to write stuff like this on a regular basis, but for those of you who care, Lauren, I'll say hi here.

That was "Wendy" .... all I have to say is I am not schizophrenic... and I do rant occasionally but what ever.

We're Headed to...

We're headed to Nebraskon! We are possibly going to have an artist alley table so if you would like to purchase a book, go ahead and stop by. If we do not have the table, I know we will be running a panel. The panel will be on writing a better story and designing a better character. Also it will be on how to make an original character. My artist and I will be there and we hope to see anyone thats going soon!

A little treat?

Hello all, its "Kathryn". Today I have a treat for you. I decided to draw my own little comic for fun. I used sharpie, no ruler, and computer paper. All though I suggest, india ink, a ruler, and bristol board. This is me just having some fun, and if you get the reference give shout out.

All right, good news! I can keep uploading! So in honor of uploading, three more pages! I forgot today was Sunday... I almost didn't update. Well, now that I have, I might just update again randomly this week, or just wait till Sunday. All I know is that you won't see anymore pages till Sunday.

Random Post 1: Otaku-no-Yen

All right, its "Kathryn" here with my first ever Random Post! Look below to see pages of the book if thats why you are here. Those are titled: Atrum Luna

Anyway, I am a fan of Otaku-no-Yen and I got to meet them at a con a bit ago. I joined their page on facebook (by the way we have a page too, just look up Atrum Luna) and I saw for a con they were having a "Live Action Comic". They become their characters and act out the comic. The catch was though that they had to act out what the con-goers wrote. SO it is a fill in the bubble thing. I can not participate because I am not going to the con, but I filled out one anyway.

I dont own that at all. Copyright is with Studio ONY. All though I shouldn't be saying this. I suggest you check out their stuff. (www.otakunoyen.com)

Its pretty darn GREAT. But so is ours! DO NOT FORGET THAT!!

Atrum Luna: A New Friend part 2

I was getting many questions as to why this was suddenly online with very little pages. I would like everyone to know that this is actually a one hundred page manga, all ready in print, and is now here on the web by the request of many. I SHOULD update with a few pages once a week.

So, I have gotten many requests for an update. I just could not help myself! Here by popular demand... tah-dah! Two more pages! Seriously though, next update WILL be sunday. Excited? I am.
